Brand
Logos, colours and rules for press, partners and the community. Read the short guide below before you use them.
Name
Write northstar in text: lowercase, one word, the same as the wordmark. Our legal name is North Star AGI VZW; use it only in legal and financial documents.
Wordmark
Use this by default. Use the wordmark wherever the name fits: website headers, partner walls, slides and posters.
Icon
Use the icon only when the wordmark doesn't fit: square or small spaces such as profile pictures, favicons and stickers, or anywhere narrower than 80px.
Lockup
Icon and wordmark together, for a first introduction such as an opening slide or a sponsor banner. If the wordmark alone works, use the wordmark.
Colours
The logo only ever appears in these two colours. No gradients or other colours.
-
Muted white
The logo on dark backgrounds.
-
Near-black
The logo on light backgrounds, and our background colour.
Clear space and size
- Keep clear space on every side equal to the height of the "n" in the wordmark.
- Wordmark: at least 80px wide on screen, 25mm in print.
- Icon: at least 16px on screen, 6mm in print.
Don't
-
Don't stretch or squash it.
-
Don't rotate it.
-
Don't recolour it.
-
Don't add glows, shadows or effects.
-
Don't place it on a busy photo.
-
Don't retype it in another font.
Co-branding
- When we lead, northstar comes first. When a partner leads, follow their guidelines.
- Give both logos the same visual height, with a thin divider and clear space between them.
- Use partner logos exactly as supplied.
Typefaces
-
Exposure −30
For headings.
-
Geist
For body text and the interface.
