Belgium 2025-26 Season

Official National Organizer for Belgium

North Star Kids has been appointed by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) as the official National Organizer for Belgium for the 2025–26 season.

As national organizers, we:

  • Recruit and train schools and teams across Belgium.
  • Host the Belgian National Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, with the national championship taking place on Saturday, 21 March 2026.
  • Mentor the winning Junior and Senior teams as they prepare to represent Belgium at the Global Finals in Geneva, Switzerland.
  • Build partnerships that make robotics and innovation accessible to more young people across the country.

Season 2025–26: Robotics for Agriculture

The upcoming season focuses on "Robotics for Food Security." With global food systems under pressure, learners will explore how robotics can help:

  • Improve irrigation and reduce water waste
  • Support precision farming with selective planting
  • Harvest and sort crops efficiently while protecting ecosystems

This challenge gives young innovators the chance to design robots that directly address food security, sustainability, and climate resilience.

Belgium Finals

The national championship for Belgium will take place on Saturday, 21st March 2026.

The winners from each category will represent Belgium at the Grand Finale in Geneva, Switzerland, during the AI for Good Global Summit from 7–10 July 2026.

Participation Categories

Individuals as well as teams consisting of up to 8 members can register:

  • Junior – Born between 2016 – 2012
  • Senior – Born between 2011 – 2008
