Kids AI Vibecoding Hackathon
100 kids. 80 volunteers. 6 cities. 8 venues. The Belgian chapter of the Worldwide Kids AI Vibecoding Hackathon.
Vibecoding is coding with AI assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, or v0. Kids describe what they want to create in plain language and watch it come to life. No prior experience needed.
100 kids and 80 volunteers showed up across Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, Antwerp, Charleroi, and Liege - 8 venues running simultaneously. For most of these kids, it was their first time building something with AI. For many of the volunteers, it was the most rewarding Saturday of the year.
Part of the global United for Kids initiative. Free event with lunch, snacks, coding mentors, and all the AI tools provided.
